Landkreditt is at the moment the only credit union in Norway.

Landkreditt was founded in 1915, with the main objective to provide credit to Norwegian farmers.

Landkreditt has approximately 12 000 members. The membership in Landkreditt follows your status as a lender, i e you are a member of the credit union as long as your loan is running. Total assets for the credit union: 1,2 billion NOK.

Landkreditt owns Landkreditt Bank AS. Total assets for the bank was in 2009 14,2 billion NOK.
